@MAX
Tray Player is a small, easy to use but fairly
powerful multimedia player intended for everyday
use.
Do you like to listen to background music when working
with other Windows applications? Then @MAX Tray Player
is for you. The program inserts control buttons right
into your Windows tray. You don't even have to open
the main program window to control the player. While
it is lightning fast and has a low impact on system
resources, @MAX Tray Player is still a powerful and
feature-rich media player.

- @Max Tray Player 1.01b has been released.
It includes all features of version 1.01 alpha
plus:
- A new and, as we think, more attractive default
skin. The old default skin is now available
on the Skins page.
- Now you can control the player in the full-screen
video mode. Remaining in the full-screen mode,
you can pause and resume the playback, select
the fragment you are interested in or move
to the next video clip, adjust the brightness
and saturation of the image, etc.
and many other changes and bug fixes.
Download it here.
Your comments and bug reports are very important
to us so feel free to use support.
- The long awaited FAQ and Documentation section
are added to the site. They will allow you to find
answers to most questions arising when you use
the player.
- Now some sad news J.
We decided to change the conditions of distributing
the player. Now it is a shareware program. It means
that you can evaluate its features for free and
decide if you like it or not. If you find Tray
Player useful and want to use it after the 30-day
evaluation period, a license fee is required (see Tray
Player registration page). We think that this
attitude towards our users is more honest than
trying to make money with a free product using
ads, spyware and other methods. We hope you understand.

- Next long-awaited alpha version of @Max
Tray Player is out.
The code of My Media browser has been completely
redesigned. As to the visible changes:
- Now you can sort any list of media files
(not only playlists).
- You can add a folder or the folder content
to the My Media tree for each My Media folder.
- You can disable auto saving playlist changes
but save them when it's necessary.
- My Media menu also has undergone some changes.
A few small but "very important" J changes:
- Now you can switch "elapsed time" / "remaining
time" (by using corresponding context menu).
- You can choose what information (title, artist,
album, duration) will be displayed for the
current file (by using corresponding context
menu).
- You can search for files in playlist or My
Media browser list just by typing several first
charaters of any word of the file name.
- There is a possibility to move the full player
window in any place on the desktop ("Allow
moving full player" option).
- Now the player works correctly when taskbar
is aligned vertically.
- Player saves a full-screen mode when it starts
to play the next video file in the playlist.
- Player does not show a Play info when some
application stays in a full-screen mode.
- Full player window is not shown when the
player runs at Windows startup.
and many other changes and bug fixes.
Download it here.
