It is used to display the information about the current
track.
It is displayed automatically when the player starts playing
a new track or when the mouse pointer is over the taskbar
panel of the player. It is hidden either after a certain
time period or when you move mouse pointer over it.
It contains the title, artist and duration of the track
(configured in the Player window), as well as the
playing time, frequency spectrum, bit rate and sample rate.
You can specify the time for it to be displayed or disable
it in the Player options dialog box.
